Valkyrae is a well-known YouTube streamer that has taken the digital world by storm. She has built a solid following of 4 million subscribers on the YouTube platform. Her content consists of hanging out with her closest friends including Pokimane, adopting cutie puppies, traveling around the world, and hanging with cool celebrities such as Mr. Beast for a $250,000 competition for rock, paper, and scissors.

Valkyrae is extremely popular with the Generation Z crowd. She first streamed on Twitch in 2015. Valkyrae became popular as a gaming streamer playing Fortnite in 2018. She left Twitch in 2020 by signing an exclusive contract with YouTube during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I enjoy watching her YouTube videos and past streams. Valkyrae is down-to-earth and friendly to all of her subscribers and followers. She deeply cares about her community tribe on her YouTube channel. It was confirmed that Valkyrae signed a multi-year streaming deal in 2020 and extended the deal until January 2024. She displayed her excellent gaming skills on her YouTube channel to her loyal fans and subscribers. Valorant and Elden Rings are two of the popular games that Valkyrae plays on her live YouTube streams. She has inspired other young women to pursue their passion for becoming content creators. It is well-known that Valkyrae attracts “20,000 viewers on her live YouTube stream with a record of 30.6 million streaming hours in 2021.” Here is the link to the exciting announcement video from Valkyrae signing with YouTube in 2020:

A powerful video announcement joining the YouTube family as a gaming streamer

I was fascinated by the inspiring video of Valkyrae joining YouTube as a full-time gaming streamer. It was heartwarming to see that she had a close bond with her father who died in the hospital from cancer in 2017. It reminds me of losing my mother to stage 3 cancer in April 2015. That was a painful journey for me. I could feel Valkyrae’s pain and loss from losing a parent. She said to her YouTube fans that death “was the hardest to accept, but this is life. And we can learn from the hardships.”

Valkyrae, thank you for being a bright and shining role model to your fans and young girls who aspire to be streamers. Your story of starting as a gaming streamer on Twitch to becoming a popular YouTube gaming streamer is phenomenal. I was compelled to write this article. I will continue to support you. Valkyrae, I hope you get to see it.
